We Are Back!

Hello again!

It’s been a long time since our last blog post but rest assured... we’ve been working! So what's new?

First of all, I want to introduce myself as the new member of Colossal Head Games. My name is Juan De Alba. I love music (who doesn’t?), video games (obviously) and programming. I'm so happy to be part of the studio and hope that we can bring you all great experiences through our video games; that’s what we love to do.

Second thing to say is that Carlos, one of the founders and investors of the studio had to take a break from doing video games for personal reasons (but don’t worry, he’s doing ok!). I’m here to continue his work at Colossal. So, without further context here’s the state of things right now:

BitTactics, the realtime tactics multiplayer game for mobile devices it’s currently on hold. It’s an ambitious game with high technical difficulty that we want to do right. On top of that we still have a lot to learn about launching a game to market and all of what’s associated with it. That said, we thought that it was best to start small with our first published game and that’s why I’m happy to announce that we are working on a new casual game for Android and iOS called "The Last Archero”.

As you will see on the screnshots the game is in late stages of development. I will be releasing screenshots and posting updates about the game regularly.

In the next post I will talk more about this game’s story, mechanics, etc.. and hope you can give me feedback of what you like or what you don't like about it; we want to know your opinion!
