Our next step... Publicity

Hello everyone! It's been almost a year since we started the development on "The Last Archero" (called "Arrow Shooter" back in the day). Part of that time has been spent on the main idea, mechanics, art implementation, testing, bug fixing (quite some time!) and polishing details. But now that it is almost complete, it's time for us to focus on the marketing ... I don't know if it has happened to you, that one day you see a game or a movie cover, or maybe you were just changing channels and you found a really good movie but never heard of it. Or all the way around, you are expecting a game; you saw images, trailers, influencers playing it, but when it's in your hands it was just not that good, or maybe it was good but the expectations were so high that it would be really hard to get to those. That's why I don't watch a lot of trailers; better to be surprised than disappointed. That's why publicity plays a very high role, not only in the video-games industry but also in movies, music, restaurants, people, insurance companies, etc... In the past weeks, we've been putting a lot of effort into the marketing area, creating and filling with content our social networks: #, #, and Instagram. It's been a wild ride because with this, on our first game, we are just seeing how our expected audience differs from the audience the content is reaching. We are starting to build a community, that you the reader, are part of. In order to succeed we must reach as many people as possible, specially to people who are truly interested in our content and we must deliver that quality content that those people would expect to see from us. In a few weeks we'll be announcing the beta (and this is part of the publicity XD) and of course we'll be announcing it here.
